A venue that grew into a garden
We opened on 14 May 2017 with a handful of tables on the edge of a family rice field. The kitchen still cooks the same way: Balinese and Nusantara dishes beside Western plates, made with what the market brings that morning. Around the tables are water-lily ponds, bean bags under bright umbrellas, a covered dining room for the rain, and a prayer room for guests who need it.
Twenty metres out over the valley
Putu runs the swing from 11:00 until the light goes, harness on, photos and video included. Bike rides through the terraces leave in the morning. Both are walk-in, and both are quieter before noon.

Banjar Pejengaji, Tegallalang, Gianyar 80561. Head north from Ubud centre for about twenty minutes; the last stretch is a narrow path through the paddies, and there is parking at the top.

Walk-ins are welcome, but sunset tables and the pondside row go quickly. For groups over eight, or an event, tell us in your WhatsApp message and we will come back within the day.
